Lea — Short Period Swimwear

Period swimwear has multiple layers: an absorbent core, a leak-resistant barrier, and a waterproof or quick-dry outer layer. It traps menstrual flow so you can swim without leaks.

It depends on your flow. For light flow you can usually wear it 5-6 hours, for moderate flow 4-5 hours, and during heavy flow maybe 2-3 hours or paired with another product for better protection.

You can wear it alone on lighter days. For heavier days, it’s safer to use additional internal products like a tampon or menstrual cup along with your period swimwear.

Modern designs are discreet. The absorbent layer is usually thin and integrated, so under clothing or in water it looks just like regular swimwear.

Yes. The materials are designed to handle salt water, chlorine and movement. Just rinse after use to remove salt or chlorine, which helps maintain fabric and protection.

Rinse in cold water after use, wash on gentle cycle with mild detergent (no bleach or fabric softener), air dry (avoid tumble dryer). Follow the care instructions to prolong life and protect absorbency.
